Buying and Selling Brisbane Bayside – How I Do It

The first step is to pick up the phone or send me a message and give me a little bit of information about the car you want to sell quickly.

Sometimes I cannot answer straight away so definitely leave me a message I will always come back to you when I can.

Typically we will work out a suitable time and place to meet, have a look over your car and do a brief test drive.

Every car has a price and I will usually be able to explain my offer to you.

The price we agree on usually has a few variables attached to it.

Some of these include:

• The general overall condition of your car.
• The maintenance history.
• The year and how many kilometres it has travelled.
• Its registration status – e.g. is it registered in Qld, if at all and how much registration it has left to run.

Once all of the above has been addressed, the process from here is quick and easy.

Firstly you and I fill in a simple Qld government form known as a “vendor’s statement”.

By signing this form you acknowledge you are the legal owner of the car, that we have agreed on a price and that the ownership and registration (if applicable) transfers from you to my licensed motor trading business.
